A new bridge over the west section of Ham Branch on Bell street is in course of construction. The concrete paving has been torn up and the inadequate drainage tiles removed. Water and gas lines have been lowered several feet and new concrete drainage boxes are being installed. The city dads are hopeful that this new work will largely overcome the tendency of Ham Branch to overflow in that vicinity.
