"Rockdale, my hometown, is Texas' heart and significant part of its soul," George Sessions Perry wrote in his book, Texas: A World Unto Itself. 1906 :: Automobile for Rockdale
Mr. P.H. Perry has ordered an automobile, which is expected to arrive in a short while. This will be the first "devil wagon" for Rockdale, and when it arrives the trouble will begin.
